Inspired by sunrise over Lesotho’s Maloti Mountains, the Mahlaseli Leather Handbag is a sculptural statement piece from AULI Leather’s Lumina Sunburst Collection. Mahlaseli means “Rays” in Sesotho, reflected in the dramatic hand-laid leather sunburst radiating across the front of the bag.
A bi-colour composition of distressed brown and saddle-tan leather is finished with hand-braided edge detailing and a custom-cast sun-over-mountain emblem. Curved metal handles, a detachable crossbody strap, custom AULI lining, and organized interior storage combine statement design with everyday functionality.
